The general directors of the ports signed an agreement on long-term partnership within the framework of SPIEF.
The meeting between Dr. Gernot Tesch, Managing Director of the Rostock Port, and Andrei Sizov, General Director of Limited Liability Company “Primorsky Universal Transshipment Complex”, took place on the second day of SPIEF.
An important cooperation agreement on the Baltic Bulk Stream project was signed at the meeting.
It is worth noting that the signing ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Aleksandr Drozdenko, and the Prime Minister of the Federal Land of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Germany, Manuela Schwesig.
As ivbg.ru wrote earlier, it is planned to commission the port facilities of the Primorsky UTC in 2022, the project costs 90.6 billion rubles. The main types of cargo to be handled in the port are coal, mineral fertilizers, containers, general cargoes, grain.
